Intentional Teacher Planning | Guest Post

Teacher planning during the summer is essential for a smooth school year. I know this, yet every year I put my teacher planning off until the last week before in-service. Then I am in a rush to get anything actually done. This usually leaves me starting school with a huge to do list that never gets done as I scramble to get the classroom physically set up.  This year I want to make a positive change and get some good and effective planning done before teacher inservice starts on August 21st.

7 People Who Can Really Teach You How to be a Successful Blogger | Guest Post

When you’re just starting out in blogging it can be very overwhelming. When I wrote my first post I genuinely had no idea how much of a rollercoaster of a learning curve blogging would be. I thought putting myself out there on my pretty little website was enough. Turns out, tumbleweed..... sad face.

5 Money Saving Travel Tips | Guest Post

1. Always, always, always book prior to your trip.

I know this sounds like simple common sense but you’d be surprised of how many people don’t do this. Booking online not only includes airfare, but don’t forget hotels, car rentals, activities, tours, etc. This allows plenty of time to do your research and find the lowest prices, allow prices to fluctuate and you catch them at their lowest, and use online reward points. I love using ebates and retailmenot where you can search a large variety of sites and get discounts and/or cash back!

How to Make Your Blogger Blog Look More Professional

My blog is hosted on blogger. Can you tell? Probably not. I have removed the blogger navbar, the attribution that says "powered by blogger" and I changed my favicon to my own logo instead of blogger's logo.

I also removed almost every blogger gadget on my blog and replaced them with HTML gadgets that give me more customization and are easier to edit and from my point of view I got rid of those annoying little wrenches and pencils called "quick edit" tools
